Description
E Patchitt’s schoolroom sampler is the second in the Little Reds Series. Her small sampler includes two uppercase alphabets with each line separated by a decorative border. She didn’t include a year, but she indicated that she stitched her sampler at age 11. Harriet Elizabeth Patchett’s family was from Yorkshire, where her father was a wrought iron bridge builder.
This sampler is suitable for all levels of stitchers. It is stitched entirely in cross stitch over two threads in a single color of red. The color closest to the red Harriet E. used is DMC815; however, you may use any color you wish, red or otherwise.
Stitched on 36 ct fabric, the sampler will measure 4.5″ x 7.5″ and has a stitch count of 81W x 135H.
I hope that you will enjoy stitching E. Patchitt.
